Test mode adds a Stop button to the alarm so you can dismiss it without scanning the toilet.
One minute after the toilet scan you get a minute to scan the bin, or the alarm returns. The bin isn't a class the normal detector knows, so it has to be taught: take ~30 shots of the bin from different angles and distances, then ~30 of the rest of the bathroom.
